I knew I loved being on the water, but life was way too busy to actually own and take care of a boat, let alone haul it around, store it, and/or pay for a slip. There is no doubt in my mind that if anyone ever thought of owning a boat that Carefree Boat Club is the way to go! The conveniences of the club are numerous (boats are ready to go the moment you step on the dock, no hassles with closing up the boat at the end of a great day, no worries about maintenance/repairs/slip fees/winterization, etc.), not to mention that Lake Norman has so much to offer for everyone. The Carefree Boat Club is awesome! You get there and they have it cleaned up, gassed up and ready to go. It is definitely better then owning your own boat. It was great to own a boat, but it was very expensive to maintain it and dock it and keep it in the water. The part I love the most about the boat club is that they do all the work for you and we have all the fun! Jeff – Cornelius
My 30th birthday was the best birthday I’ve ever had. With the help of Carefree Boat Club, my husband was able to plan a surprise party for me on the docks with all the boats. All the employees helped my husband plan and prepare for not only my surprise party, but also the surprise of becoming a member of the boat club! I owned a boat for almost five years on the Lake Norman waters. During my tenure of owning a boat I disliked the fact of having so many maintenance issues to deal with, i.e. winterizing, power washing, waxing, oil changes, cleaning, filling it with gas, and where to store the trailer year round. When we started with the Carefree Boat Club I told my wife I will never again own a boat knowing it can be this easy! Calling or texting the great dock staff or checking a website to secure a newer, spotless and fueled boat makes it so simple. Now when people ask, Do you have a boat, I say, Yes.
